Teague City Parks are available for the enjoyment of Teague citizens and
visitors. Located at N. 8th Avenue
and also on Jefferson Street.
N. 8th Avenue Park features the City Pool, pavilion, RV
hookups, rodeo grounds, baseball fields, and playground equipment along with picnic
tables and benches. Restrooms are available, as well.
The annual Ranch Rodeo is the big event around the July 4th weekend and brings
in thousands of locals and visitors who both enjoy and participate in this old
fashion ranch rodeo. Mark your calendar and be there!
The annual Parkfest is scheduled for the 2nd weekend of October and brings
visitors and locals out to enjoy games for the kids, food for all and craft
vendors from all over Texas with their artistic wears to sell and show.
Little League is a major tenant at the City Park, and sponsors several
tournaments during the year.
A major gathering spot for locals and visitors alike, you will not want to miss
these special events each year.
Jefferson Park is home to local soccer events, and houses a
pavilion and basketball courts.
This is a family reunion location for many local families, not to mention all
the basketball games and soccer matches that occur each weekend.

Teague Community Center is provided by the City of Teague for the benefit and
enjoyment of our citizens and citizens of surrounding areas. Events held at the
Teague Community Center must be sponsored by individuals and/or organizations
based or living in Freestone County.
There are tables, chairs and a stage for event use. Please contact Teague City
Hall for more information on policies and rental fees for holding an event at
the Teague Community Center.

Teague Over 55 Center is provided by the City of Teague for the benefit
and enjoyment of our senior citizens. The Over 55 Center is open from 7:30 AM to
1:00 PM Monday through Friday.
Citizens can join together for a hot, home cooked lunch served daily at a cost
of $4.00 for people 60 and under. A $2.00 donation is requested for people over
60. You must call in advance to order your lunch.
There are many large tables for gathering and visiting, eating and playing
games. Cards and dominoes are favorites!

Teague City Pool is a great family place to cool off and have fun. Hours
of operation are Tuesday through Saturday, 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM and Sunday, 1:00
PM to 6:00 PM. Family passes are available and the pool can be reserved for
parties. There is a bath house and concessions for a full day of fun.
