Administrative Assistant 

The City of Teague has an opening for a full-time Administrative Assistant. The purpose of this position is to provide support to the administration and utility departments. Duties include completing customer service activities, routine clerical, general office/phone duties, data entry/preparation, and office/administrative support. Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Answers and directs incoming telephone calls;
Provides citizen assistance by fielding questions, concerns, and complaints from the general public;
Performs word processing, data entry duties, general clerical duties including typing, filing, and photocopying;
Prepares, types, and distributes correspondence, memos, and reports;
Researches department records;
Enters and updates cases and information into the computer system;
Maintains and updates department files, records, and reports;

Education: A high school diploma or GED

License/Certifications: Must have valid driver's license and good driving record

Police Officer in a Small City. Duties include but are not limited to enforcing Federal and State Laws and Ordinances of
the City of Teague. Candidates must undergo a background investigation, drug screening, oral interview, must be able
to use computerized equipment and must be in good physical condition.

Job Requirements: Education, training, experience:

TCLOSE certified, Valid Texas Drivers License, must be a high school graduate or equivalent.
