Full-Time Utility Clerk

The City of Teague has an opening for a full-time Utility Clerk. Duties include cash receipting, utility bill production, utility report review and assessment, reservation coordination, working with field staff to address customer/public work order requests, routine clerical, general office/phone duties, data entry/preparation, and office/administrative support. The City of Teague, Texas, is a community-minded small town with a population of 3,500. Teague is located 45 miles east of Waco, 120 miles south of Dallas and 180 miles north of Houston. The Police Sergeant is a supervisory officer and reports directly to the Chief of Police. They will have direct oversight of all operations and personnel assigned to a Patrol shift.  They will coordinate and control activities of their respective shift or assignment. Work independently in performing assigned duties under the general orders of the Chief of Police. Performance is evaluated through observation, oral and written reports, and by obtained results.

QUALIFIED APPLICANT
Minimum of Intermediate Peace Officer Certification with TCOLE
Minimum of 5 years of Law Enforcement experience
Supervisory experience is preferred, but not required.
Must meet all licensing requirements by TCOLE
Must be able to pass the following: Full TCOLE Background Investigation, Oral Board and drug Tests

RESERVE POLICE OFFICER

Policer Officer in a Small City. Duties include but are not limited to enforcing Federal and State Laws and Ordinances of
the City of Teague. Candidates must undergo a background investigation, drug screening, oral interview, must be able
to use computerized equipment and must be in good physical condition.

Job Requirements: Education, training, experience:

TCLOSE certified, Valid Texas Drivers License, must be a high school graduate or equivalent.
