​The City of Teague is currently accepting applications for a full-time Police Officer.

Police Officers enforce federal, state and local laws and provide protection to citizens. This is accomplished by responding to general and critical incidents, investigating and enforcing violations, patrolling geographical limits, responding to crime scenes, processing reports, and identifying and transporting suspects. • Must be TCOLE Certified
• Must possess a high school diploma or G.E.D. certificate.
• Must possess a valid Texas driver's license (upon employment) and have a good driving record.
• Must not have been convicted of a felony at any time or a Class B misdemeanor or  above in the last 10 years.
• Must be a United States citizen.
• Must have an honorable discharge from the Armed Forces, if applicable.
• Must have vision correctable to 20/20.
• Must be able to pass the following:  Full TCOLE Background Investigation, Oral Board, medical and psychological screening, and drug Testing.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $16.00 /hour Starting Pay, then $16.50 after six-months


Police Officer in a Small City. Duties include but are not limited to enforcing Federal and State Laws and Ordinances of
the City of Teague. Candidates must undergo a background investigation, drug screening, oral interview, must be able
to use computerized equipment and must be in good physical condition.

Job Requirements: Education, training, experience:

TCLOSE certified, Valid Texas Drivers License, must be a high school graduate or equivalent.
