City Departments

There are many ways in which the City of Teague works to serve the community.  The following are the major departments of the city, including a description of their main functions.  If you need more information on a particular city function or service, these sections of the website should be helpful to you.

ADMINISTRATION

Responsible for overall city operations.  Key staff members include the City Administrator and the Director of Public Works.

The city is available to serve the citizens of Teague.  The city supplies water, sewer and garbage pickup to all citizens within the city limits of Teague.  The City Council has approved City Ordinances to govern the costs of these services.

Our City Administrator, Don Doering, has an open door policy and welcomes the public to visit with their needs and concerns.

The staff is available to assist with the payments of water bills, permits and license fees, animal control fines, information, and ordinance questions.

Our Director of Public Works, Gus Ramirez has a talented crew to assist in the maintenance of our streets, parks, sewer system and water system.  This crew is multi-talented.

They read meters, repair streets, maintain the parks and airport, operate the city dump, install culverts, in addition to installing water meters and sewer taps where needed.

They are here to serve, call if you need them!
